Kyle Brooks

Kyle Brooks is a partner at Blaska Holm LLC in Atlanta, Georgia. He is an experienced civil rights and employment attorney who has represented clients in a wide range of complex matters in both state and federal courts. Kyle has deep experience handling cases involving employment discrimination, retaliation, constitutional violations, and business disputes.

Kyle’s practice includes claims involving race, sex, age, national origin, religion, and disability discrimination, as well as matters involving the First Amendment and other constitutional protections. He also advises clients on employment agreements, restrictive covenants, and commercial litigation. His experience across both private practice and government service allows him to anticipate challenges, develop strategy early, and guide clients effectively through all stages of a case.

Years of Experience

Kyle has practiced law since 2013. He began his career in private practice, where he focused on business litigation, catastrophic personal injury, and civil rights matters.

During this time, Kyle played a key role in the successful litigation of multiple high-profile cases. His business litigation experience includes claims under the Fair Business Practices Act, the Uniform Deceptive Trade Practices Act, ERISA, as well as breach of contract and fraud.

Kyle later served with the Georgia Department of Law, where he specialized in civil rights and constitutional litigation. His work involved claims arising under the First, Fourth, Fifth, Eighth, and Fourteenth Amendments, as well as issues of sovereign and qualified immunity. He also handled complex matters, including wrongful death cases and litigation involving the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Rehabilitation Act, Title IX, and the Georgia Tort Claims Act.

Early Years

A native of the Macon, Georgia area, Kyle earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Mercer University. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law in 2013.

Outside of Work

Outside of his legal practice, Kyle is committed to public service and the advancement of civil rights. He is particularly passionate about protecting individuals’ constitutional rights.

In his free time, Kyle enjoys spending time with family and friends and staying connected to the Middle Georgia community where he was raised.
